Atlanta hosts family-friendly events and festivals all year long! The home of the National Black Arts Festival, Atlanta celebrates Black History in neighborhoods, festivities and performances. As part of the NBAF, Atlanta features headlining music, theater and film performances during the Festival, including the Pan African Film Festival. The NBAF also includes family events and literary events.

Atlanta is also home to one of the biggest neighborhood celebrations in the country: the Sweet Auburn Springfest. Located along the street which was the hub of Atlanta’s Black commerce at the turn of the century, the festival honors this historically Black neighborhood with a film festival, a health fair, an arts market, gospel performances and a food festival known as the largest in the Southeast! Be sure to check out the Decatur Arts Festival, the Taste of the South or the Fantastic Fourth 4th of July Celebration!
